Hi,
    I have a cascade mk 2 water heater in our sprite caravan but seem to be having some problems. When i fill up the system and turn on the heater the green light comes on, but the heater does not want to warm up? I have taken the heater out, checked the gas which seems to be flowing ok and replaced. I then tried the whole procedure again but nothing. How do i know when the heater is warming up by electric/ gas. There also does not seem to be any sort of spark. It was suggested in a caravan shop that this could be due to the burner module which i have been quoted as £132 just for the part. Any help will be appreciated

It most often is the burner module at fault and I sell them service exchange at half that price! but there are a few other things that can cause this.

First though what year is it? you can find the date I need here;

No, serial numbers mean nothing to me, if you give me a ring on my mobile number while your at the van, I'll run you through a simple test to find out if the switch is at fault

Hi Gary,
              I have not been able to get to the van today as i have been called into work. I contactacted my father in law where the van is stored and he has got the info that you needed. The Part/no is AC03/201600and it was Patented in 91. I am presuming that this is the date that you were after. I will try and get to the van this week sometime. then hopefully give you a ring about the test.
