hi all

im slowly renovating my 2001 Compass Rallye, one thing im really struggling with finding some replacment wall lights (240v).

they are a half round ie 180degrees, and clamp to the wall.  they used to sell spare shades like this in shops like great mills, but now they are focus they dont.

Im not bothered about getting the original fitting, but something that just looks good.

does anyone have any help?

I used the Ikea ones in my caravan, but they were only £3.50 when | bought them!! To see what they look like Click Here first two pictures, before and after. I had to adjust them slightly, to be able to switch them (click to enlarge the second picture). They provide a nice light with the diffused glass shades.

To make life easier you may consider getting lights with pull cords (the ones you can use in bathrooms). I saw some in Wickes that looked good to me.

Happy renovating,

Have a look at these I put in my pageant, cost £9 on offer in homebase, they tilt/swivel etc and have a cord switch. Plus they are IP rated for bathroom use so waterproof and ideal for inside a caravan.

No damage to the wall or ceiling, the bulbs are only 7 Watts each, so little heat comes off them.

I'd happily pay the £23 if I had to buy them again, the light is just the right amount for a caravan and the build quality is superb.
