I dont know to much about the power supplied by the units, but i know the zig units only trickle charged battery, which would not have enough power to power most systems on the caravan. sounds as if battery is gone, try charging you battery away from the van, once charged messure the volts at the battery then test it again after 24hrs there shouldnt be much change if any, if there is  its knackard.

Hiya mark , you would be best testing if the charger is working . If you can get a tester just place the leads on the caravan batery terminals and take the reading, go inside and switch the charger on and if its working you will se the difference. also as mike says its just aswell to check you battery is in good condition, make sure the cells are coverd, if you need to top up with ironised water not water from the tap. Another point is is the battery a leisure battery and not just a car battery, it does make a difference. if you pump starts to come on on its own intermitently its a good sighn that you battery is low .good luck its probably somthing simple.. Regards Dan
