Hi Folks

I've just bought a 2004 TEC Travel King 510TDF Caravan, does anyone know where the battery charger on/off is?

12v system works when on mains hook up, but doesn't work when not hooked up. No lights, no water pump. Anyone clued up on these caravans.

 i think where the mains box is .theres a switch which you have to turn to 12v or mains ,mick

Charger is usually part of the main control unit which also has a built in transformer to provide  12 volt supply whilst on mains. Is the a switch over switch from van to car which might be the problem. Do you know if it was originally a UK spec vans as some German vans don't have 12 volt systems just 230v. It might be worth giving Elite Caravans at Braunston a ring as for many years they were main dealers for TEC vans.
