Hi all,

I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction.
I have just returned from a weekend away and it appears my 12v stuff (lights water pump atc) arent working. It looks like they have been running off the battery all weekend and this has now run flat. I thought that the unit in the van would charge the battery when using EHU. I also thought that you didnt need a battery at all if using a EHU, that this would power both 240 and 12v. Am i wrong in this assumption? The 240v is still working. I have checked all fuses i can see but to no avail.

Any one offer advice on where to start?

Many thanks.

The same thing happened to us. The 12v stuff runs off the battery whether you are hooked up or not. The 240v stuff runs off the EHU. Your built in charger has probably blown - you may need to replace it. They can be expensive - better of investing in a Smart Charger.

Hi

Just a thought..... it happened to us but electricity had tripped on site had used the battery until it ran down, if your charger is ok it could take a while to recharge from flat try charging battery from home power supply and replace all quick blow fuses it might help - hope this helps - good luck

Would this have meant the 240v stuff would have stopped working aswell? I will plug it into a genny and see what happens. :-)

If your 230v stuff still worked then the problem is with the charger.
