Posted Saturday Pat, 1st class from sub PO at Skegness, no problems at all.

From Post Office website; maximum size 1st class post is 18"x18"x24" with no limit on weight...your box is miles less than that so someone's going to cop it tomorrow?!

Armed with a print out from the Post Office website, I had the Post Master this afternoon about it.

Answer was, if it won't fit in a First Class mail bag it's to big? and that it's always been like that!!!
I was tempted to ask which century he lived in but in truth he's a really nice guy and I've left it with him to sort out.
