The proper adaptor kits are really dear, hubby made up his own, much cheaper.  Just remember to get a food gradable hose or the water will taste horrid, even after boiling.

Here in Northern Ireland super pitches are no dearer than standard pitches!!  Last week we were at Ballyness, a 5 star site with super pitches £15 all in per night, awning etc. Then this week at a Forestry Commision site, 6amp hook up! water that bearly trickled from the tap and normal waste procedure, same price!!  So what is your super pitch prices in the rest of the UK in comparision to your normal serviced pitches?  We bought extra waste piping, but have a 6yr old obsessed with the working of the caravan who never lets the aquaroll lose less than an inch of water at a time!!  He is on pump surveilance and when he hears it running he's ready to top up water!!

Hi there, I have a ballcock mains adaptor and they are great. We have used it several times now and it saves the pain of going to fill up the aquaroll a few times a day.

A few times per day!!!!

Blimey - we fill up once per day and seldom cos the water container is empty.......mostly just to be sure that we don't run out.    And we were thinking that once a day was a bit excessive!

Serviced pitches in the CC are usually about £3 per day extra.  When you are "getting on a bit" all those trips to fill/empty water tend to get a bit tiresome. We have the ballcock thingy for our Aquaroll, and a few extra metres of waste pipe and always use a serviced pitch when one is available.  This is not as often as we would like as they are usually all taken, so they are obviously very popular.

So that's what the hole in the side is for..........
And there was me thinking it was to save you having to detach the handle and turn the thing on end to fill it
