hi there and a big hello to all
i am after a little help if at all possible i have recently purchased a caravan a elddis mistral gtx 1991 in general the van is in good conditionand have only had to do little cosmetic things to sort her out, problem i have is how can i tell if the transformer in the caravan is working . i have had caravans previously and the transformer always got warm or had a faint buzz this one has nothing the light comes on when turned on but dosent warm up or buzz
there was a lesuire battery with the van but the previous owner said he thought it was no good it looked quite new to me. on inspection there are 2 wires a red and a black one that seem to have been disconnected from somewhere they trace back to the battery but there are 2 reds and 2 blacks coming from the battery the other red and black seem to go into the wiring harness was wondering if there is a way of checking the transformer.
any info greatly appreciated
