Got an old muskateer with the pebbledashed effect. The coachlines on one side are all faded and flakey so on the advice of a mate i masked off the lines and spray painted them....................lines okay but the paint has dried in to a very different colour than what the colour of the cap was on the tin. Was supposed to be burgundy but it has went bright purple :(
How do i rectify this??? Can i??? Considered painting over the lines with cream and dark brown as surely this is a colour you cannot go wrong with?????? Is this possible??
Also missed a bit when masking off ans some as went on the door frame and other wee bits of the bodywork, would thinners remove this??
Thankyou!!
