hi there,

just noticed that i havent got any awning rail, so that i can fix the awning skirt onto.

How easy or hard is this job to do?

Or is their any other suggestions on how to do this?

Assuming you are referring what I call the 'valance' that fills in the gap under your van and covers the wheel, and that you probably will not want to drill your van, double sided tape is a solution.

Available from motor accessory shops, the strongest type of double sided tape is termed 'trim repair tape'. This is designed for attaching trim strips to the side of cars and should be Ok for for attaching a rail to hold a 'valance'.

Thanks for your reply, so with the awning rail i would have too drill into the van to attach, couldn't i only use mastic and sealant.

i will pop down and have a look to see if they have some double sided tape
