hi i know someone who is selling a secondhand powrtouch motormover and im thinking of buying it [another toy to play with] but ive got to fit it to my van as anyone fitted one if so how did it go and is £350 about the going rate for one thats second hand thanks
Have a look here - a very good and clear set of info, thanks to Paul! As to the price; if it's in good working order, (IMHO) not a bad deal....
I've got one (not second-hand though) and I wouldn't be without it now - 20-odd years of pulling and pushing is enough now... and that's just on the flat!

As I only required a Powrtouch 1 with a van max weight of 1100kg and the Powrtouch One can move 1200kg on 1 in4 slope or 1300kg on the flat I phones Powrtouch asking for a refurbed unit, placed an order with a deposit and two weeks later I had my mover. I bought it on a DIY fitting basis for £500 with 3 years warranty, and had 28 days from the day of delivery to pay the remaining balance. Fitting was straight forward with the comprehensive instructions that came with it, the control box wiring and remote looked brand new to me as there were no markings on the terminals or fitting screw marks on the electronic`s box. The motors and fittings also looked new.
