Yes - and that is exactly why they should spend it carefully and not chuck it away by paying out hard earned cash for something that has no value.

The only positive is that the seller has admitted that the van is damp, which most Fleabay sellers seem not to. On the other hand, no one has any real idea just how extensive the damp is. An economical repair just might not be possible even if done by the purchaser themselves.

It's entirely possible to buy a dry van for a sensible price if you look hard enough.
