Hi, To repair with grp is not usually successful, depending on the extent of the damage, it can be repaired with either specialist adhesives or plastic welded, you need to find someone who now's what their doing or you could end up with more damage than you already have.
agree with Metz, only welding will repair it,not must will stick to ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) it is used for motorcycle fairing because it is is very light and strong.unless it has some sort of impact.
forgot to say its called ABS Thermal Welding

If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.

My Son used one of these at his M/cycle shop for welding ABS fairing.

I don't know about the rest of the products on the site that Gary mentions Website, but I have used Plastex on things (not on a GRP panel) in the past and it's fantastic stuff, did the job beautifully and is still going strong after about 3 years.
No reason to believe that the other products won't work just as well.

Hi, how did you get on with your repair?
I'm looking for a solution to panel stress cracks on my caravan!
You should be able to join/repair ABS with pipe solvent/adhesive (providing the adhesive formula hasn't been changed), we certainly used to use this for assembly work when we were moulding ABS components.
