I have just purchased an Avondale caravan and need the chassis number for the insurance company. does anyone know where I look for it

what year is it please also which avondale model? post 1992 it will be etched on the windows.

it should be inside above the door.also on the A frame under the cover.

Thank you both I have tried windows with no success tomorrow when it stops snowing I will try A Frame

pre 90 there was a plate above the door. the one in my book is a avondalesandmartin SE/XL 1989.

says identification = a plate just inside the door and above the entrance door,first digits give year model.

not sure about hand book could try avondale owners club.having crawled under my avondale (93).the chassis no is also on the axel.mine is also inside above the door.
