Check the mastic sealing round the whole area, frozen water has been known to loosen the screws that fix the awning rails etc.Resealing isn't difficult just messy and time consuming.

Hi Janet , have a look at my website and the Fixed it Club members websites , they should give you a good insight in how to go about things http://www.1carpc.co.uk/wcdr/ , once you've had a look do come back and ask as many questions as you like , i'm sure the fixed it club members will be able to offer you advice .

I think the good news is that you know where the water is coming in.

I have a 22 yr old Compass Rallye that has regular leaks, and water ingress's each winter, that I have to keep on top of. (Old 'Rusty' we call her - Bless), the hard part is working out where it's coming in.

A combination of mastic on a roll, silkaflex, and a fan heater has done me proud.

My advice is the 'bit by bit method' ....

1) Dry with heater

2) Seal where water is coming in

3) Wait for rain

4) Check for further ingress

5) Go back to step 1 and repeat until dry.

Good luck.
