That would be X7 + 0 and exactly what you would add? their identical in every way shape and form...apart from the zero of course
I can supply an 18 amp 3 stage 'proper' battery charger which will fit in it's place with ease for not much more than half the X70 price...now that's an upgrade
I think the X2 and 3 were 10amp output essentially the same connections though as the 12 amp X7 which came out about 1995
The problems of replacing with a lot more powerful charger is if the vans wiring can take the extra current? should not be a problem if designed for 12A but If not, then the wiring from the charger to the battery particularly and possibly to the main distribution board will need upgrading.
yep bought one from them last year looked everywhere best price i could find realy good comunication use this shop all the time look around dealers to see what i need then order online saving £££££ss , also next day delivery
I've just had to disconnect my Zig x7 from the RCd etc, and I pulled out the three wires...one multi-coloured and two red...I THOUGHT that I'd put them back on the correct spades..but no Green LED and no power to sockets, and looks like no Battery Charger...Help please
Multi coloured? what multi colours? one of them white?
The pair of reds will be positives and there's a pair of marked positive spades for them, I'm thinking the multi coloured one will contain white so a negative connection, there are a pair of marked spades for that.
Damage done may just be a blown 12v output fuse, or an internal mains fuse inside the charger. This one is a timed fuse and must be replaced with an identical one, from memory it's a T3.15A but it could be T2.5A or T2A
Hmmmm.... Ive taken the old X7 off, and the fuse is intact and reading ok. I've also put a meter across the Neg and Pos outputs of the Zig, and there is a reading.... NO reading of the mains INTO the unit. I've checked the Plug and fuse of one end of the Hook up, and also the other. I've checked a car Type Fuse near the Mains input labelled "Battery" and that's ok....is there another Fuse somewhere that i've missed on the line? otherwise it's installing a new mains Cable from the input... Puzzled of Martham....OOOPS forgot. It's a 98 Eldiss Typhoon GTX
