we are just getting all our caravans ready for the season and wondered if anyone had any miracle solutions for getting the black marks that you get from rain running down the windows.
Do you mean in the grooves at the bottom if the inside of the Pane?
I use either a diluted Milton tablet in a spray bottle to kill off this black stuff, which is actually a mildew, or use Dettox Mould and Mildew remover spray if you can find any in the shops, look for the bright lime green spray bottle, then just wipe away with a damp cloth.

Thanks very much - will definately be looking at that - its the black marks on the outside of the vans. We get in the interior groves with a toothbrush and bleach!
hi to ROBIN HOOD C. P. sorry if this is to late for you this Spring, but at the end of this year try a coat of FENWICKS overwintering it stops anything sticking, your vans will be a lot quicker to wash next Spring. I washed my van last October with fenwicks caravan cleaner then the overwintering. the van looks almost as clean now as when i cleaned it .
I am now thinking of puting it on again now as coating permanently,it might stop tar from sticking too.
all the best andy.

White Sprit. Cheaper than anything else and only takes a second to wipe off.
Showroom Shine by Greased Lightning, as advertised on the shopping channel and on eBay, will lift it in one wipe and leave behind a coat of polish. The only safe way to get tar off plastic windows.
