It will depend how far you need to bend it ,and also which way the grain is running.It will be 3 ply if it is 3.5 thick,The best way is to put saw cuts through the side that isn't seen on the curve you want, be it convex or concave, as deep as half of the centre core of the ply, at the same time making sure the saw cuts are at an even distance apart,and parallel with each other. The nearer together they are the more it will bend. Experiment with an off cut of ply at first.If you have an electric saw that you can adjust the depth it will make the job much easier.

there are two types of "flexiply" one is more expensive than the other, and will bend on both axis, the other, is essentially a ply with a more flexible bonding agent and grooved down one side, so will only bend in one axis.
