Can anyone please help me

In my Abbey, I have three gas burners and an electric hotplate on my belling cooker.

The electric hotplate has stopped working, (probably burnt out).

Could anyone point me in the right direction in where I can obtain a spare, and instructions of how to replace it.

 B 4 you go any further have you tryed the cut out switch at the back of the hob  these can somtimes bend and dont make contact it sits on the rear left hand hinge

so when the lid is pushed back it switches on I would try that first unless you have already

I have already checked the fuse and the supply, but thanks again.
