Hi All
We have been studying various touring caravans for over a year and have 5 we would go for, the main one being a elddis crown sceptre. We were going to see one at the weekend which I was excited about but then the seller decided he didn't want to sell it any more. The reason we have chosen this one is the weight/layout/general reviews. We have seen another but the seller has said the February service showed "slightly high" damp readings and also service did pick up a small area of delamination to the floor, which they had mended by a reputable company the week before last.
I know damp in a caravan is like rust in a car, what would your advice be, the seller said they think it was due to all the snow and there is no leaks in the van? Its a long way for us to travel if it is going to be a waste of time and I have asked if they can arrange another damp reading and let me know, they said they would try get it arranged for this week. I have no idea what "floor delamination" is. I appreciate your replies.
Thanks
