if they are whale type as these in the picture.find a sharp point and remove the 4 caps one in each corner.on the underside there are 4 self tapping screws.(when you refit DO NOT over tighten as the tap will be loose full time),after these are removed the tap will lift out to be removed after disconnecting the pipes.
