Hi, any technical advice would be most appreciated please

Whilst away in the van over Easter the blown air heating just packed up. I changed the fuse but still nothing.

Got to be honest, am failry new to caravans and am a bit stumped as to what to try or look for next

Any help would be much welcome

Thanx

Hiya mate, sounds like your fanmaster has overheated and just needs re-setting. There is a trip switch on the back of the unit which will need pressing in. Its on the fanmaster cover at the back of the heater.

from garys post

That's probably because the Fanmaster is on the back of an early (95) 3000S and has a 'thermal fuse' instead, however the finger of plastic that would press a reset button is still there but not cut out so will not move. I tell people its over the back of the fire, 9ins down and 7ins back from the top left hand corner of the fire, starting from where the fire front touches the woodwork.

If yours is fused and it's blown then the solution is a reset upgrade kit, you can get these from me

Did the fire work otherwise apart from the blown air?  If not on electric did it work on gas?
