I'm thinking of buying one of these caravans - I was initially looking for a Freedom but this one is possibly going to be for sale soon and it's about the same size....I looked it over this weekend and it's really nice (for a 1990 model) I don't want anything bigger (they are both about 10ft x 6ft inside). Does anyone know anything about the Silverline Nova's please - or have any advice to offer? I would be very grateful.
length = 11ft / width = 5ft 6in / unladen weight = 11 cwt / max gross = 15.7 cwt / identification = chassis plate on the drawbar first two digits give year model.says check for water ingress.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
My advice would be to go for it! We have a Silverline Nova princess GT & it's just right if you only need a comfortable, small light weight caravan, that's easy to tow (no wing mirror extensions required) & store
Ours has a AL-KO lightweight galvanised chassis,Propex blown air heating, Cascade 9 litre water heater & a Thetford toilet. The seats turn into a nice comfortable king size bed & the bathroom 'cupboard' is adequate for a wee & a wash! Lots of locker space for a little caravan.
Check the inside top corners above the front window for any signs of damp, as this seems to be a weak point on these 'vans.
That's really helpful - thank you very much. I've had an email from the person whose 'van it is and she's not sure whether to sell or not - so I just have to wait and see now. Other than that I'm on the lookout for a Freedom. Unless anyone knows of any other very tiny ones???!

Hi there Silverline Nova Princess fans I have a question, I am struggling to find what size full awning to get. Can anyone help please xx
struggling to get a tape measure out and follow from the ground , up the side across the top and back down to the ground? then take note of the centimeters and find the awning in the size you need
As well is two words!
