I'm asuming you have tried charging the battery via the charger and its still going flat?
I think you need to use a multi meter tester, to check if the charger is outputting current.
Failing that take the new battery off and use an external charger to charge it up. If it charges and holds the charge then you can deduce that its the battery charger and not the battery at fault.
But I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than me will be along shortly to point you in the right direction.
i charged the battery last weekend and i put it on the caravan last monday its been plugged in on site all week , when i got to the van friday night , it was fine till sat night it went flat , the battery condition meter was on green again this morning till i used lights and water pump it went down to the red again
Just a thought but it is the correct type of battery isn't it, I mean a leisure battery?
I read somewhere that other batteries, like car batteries are not suitable for caravan use since they go flat quickly.
Also depending on the Amp Hour rating, and what you are drawing will affect it's charge. Are you using a TV off it? That will drain a battery faster than anything.
i will get one of those testers thank you ,i just run lights and water pump , from the battery , its a brand new leasure battery ,thanks for all your help

From this description I would suspect the battery is at fault possibly a short in the plates. my battery went the same way
Not unknown for a new battery, get it tested properly

sounds like the charger is not working as it should.when you get you meter check you are getting at least 13.5 volts to 14 volts at the battery when connected to EHU. see looking after battery.........
Even without the charger working, the battery should probably last longer than that.
I flattened two batteries in two days once. Then I realised the water pump was running all the time. Can't really remember why, I think there was an airlock in the system.
