hi we have a swift corniche we are having problems getting the water to run in the kitchen taps we have to turn the tap on in the bathroom to get them working do we need a new pump or could it be the micro chip regards linda

Hi you have a micro switch gone on the tap that does not operate posting a picture or the make of the tap could get you some instructions on how to do it

hi hubby says it doesnt have a micro switch it is a 1988 swift

We've a similar issue with the tap in the bathroom it only works once you've turned the shower on,It then comes on for some reason ??
We have an Ace Jubilee Equerry so any advice would be great..

the shower tap is operating the pump and the bathroom tap is not. check micro switches.

Have to say it does sound like a micro switch problem , do you have any wires going to the underneath of the taps /

Haven't a clue about any wires as it only started happening on the last day of our holiday.
Are these micro switches easy to replace and costly ??

If you have wires going to the taps it's a pretty good indication that you have microswitches , have a look here to see micro switches Click_here .
