I'm beginning to sound like Victor Meldrew "I REALLY CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!!"
I had my Powrtouch HD motor mover fitted to our Bailey Senator Arizona just before Easter. There were immediate issues in that the electronics box had been fitted behind the heater rather than in the bed box as expected. The cables were hanging loose near the back of the heater that would have become hot when in use. P/T promptly sent a fitter the next day who moved the box to the bed box.
We've subsequently used the mover in/out of our drive and on/off pitch for our Easter and Whit breaks - seemed okay.
Today I had taken afternoon off work (a cost of c£50 lost pay) so that I could get the 'van to our dealers for its annual service. Took off Alko Secure and Bulldog hitch lock. Wound up the steadies. Positioned car. Turned on the motor mover - it seemed okay until I tried to use the electric actuator to move the rollers onto the wheels. Counted down the green lights on the remote but then a small red light flashed and nothing happened.
I used my multimeter to check the batter and got a reading of 12.6v. Phoned P/T - they phoned me back because they were busy. Went through the routine with the technical support engineer over the phone. No joy! He said that they would send out an engineer asap. Later got a call from local engineer - earliest appointment next Wednedsay. Phoned P/T again but they said that the above appointment was my best, and only, bet.
I am NOT impressed nearly £1K it cost and not working after 2 trips!!! I suppose it could have been worse we could have been going away on holiday. I've got a really busy weekend coming up and I've just spent 2+ hours unlocking, trying to get the mover to work and, subsequently, locking the caravan.
I've taken the 'van battery out and put it on charge in the garage just to be doubly sure.
I know you will have done so already, but try reading through the instruction manual again just in case there is some simple point that has been missed. Who fitted it originally?
Might also be worth checking all the small batteries in the handset, and even if the indication lights are coming on, it can happen that the signal is not strong enough to operate the reciever and turn the wheels due to lack of power. We have had this problem once before and now carry a spare pack of batteries and change them imediately if we have the slightest problem. Some movers are also fitted with a timed reset switch, so they need to be left for about an hour (in the case of our Reich Mover anyway) should a problem occur, such as ours got a stone stuck between the roller and the tyre whilst in use, causing the motor to cut out.

The mover was a fitted by the local Powrtouch agents. I have read the manual repeatedly. I checked the remote handset battery too - I changed although it was giving a good reading on a battery tester.
It looks as though I'm stuck until the engineer calls next Wednesday. At least we weren't going away on holiday - just to the dealers.!!!
Our Powrtouch mover, fitted last month, doesn't work either. Just trips out and no power to control box as soon as you start to move it. Not a good start. Been told van must be overloaded but if its a twin axle mover then it should do it otherwise unfit for purpose in my view.
Hope you get yours sorted, will let you know how we got on.
They also fixed it to front axle of twin axle caravan whilst being fitted at dealers so next to useless for turning. Grrrrr!
had a similar problem the handset battery wasw duff it can go on quite easily it needs 2 clicks to activate it but only 1 turns it on so it can stay on for ages between use and runs down i now remove the battery everfy time a bit of a faff but at least its works - so far.
the otherthing to be aware of - the mover is not part of the annual service so tell them if you want it serviced all they do is spray grease the sliding parts for the rolloers to engage the tyre my service agent - a local big dealer - gave me a spray can they use and said i could do it myself and save the 15 quid
Powrtouch do recommend fitting 2-motor movers on a twin axle van on the rear wheels. I wonder what the thinking was behind putting them on the front? Possibly so you could still use your spare wheel carrier.
The reason they are better on the rear is that by raising the nosewheel, some of the friction could be taken of the front tyres, lessening the scrub effect and making manouvering easier. Unfortunately 2-motor models on a TA will never come close to the uneven ground handling and manouverability of the AWD models, regardless of what the Ad's say :(
I tested the battery tonight after 72+ hours on charge on my "smart" charger. Multimeter reading 13.7. Put the battery back in the battery box on 'van and tried motor mover. I got exactly the same, NIL, response as I did on Thursday. Actuator didn't work, neither would the rollers turn whilst "off" he tyres.
The battery is an "Energy 110" bought new at Easter time from my tyre dealer.
Looks as though I'll be waiting for the "Powrtouch" agent on Wednesday.
my mate and i fitted the self same mover to his caravan only yesterday and we couldnt get the accutator to move forward to lock onto the wheel and after nearly giving up i took the remote off my mate and we then discovered that he had been trying to use the remote upside down so instead of asking the acutator to move forward it was asking it to move back well as it was already back it just shut thw whole system down with the same red flashing light.
after we discovered that the romote was the wrong way round and pressed the correct buttons it works great.
im not saying that this is the same problem but its a point to look at.
Anthony from A1 Caravan Services of Warrington arrived this afternoon. He had 3 unsuccessful attempts at remapping the handset to the electronic box as instructed by P/T. He then fitted a new electronic box and the mover worked fine again.
I was due to drop the 'van off at the workshop tonight, ready for its annual service tomorrow, but when I phoned the workshop to see if I could drop the 'van off this evening as work commitments prevent taking it tomorrow - I usually do this. The manager said unfortunately that was not possible as the workshop team were finishing early to watch the England v Slovenia match!!!!
I was impressed by the way that Anthony from A1 Caravans, a NCC recognised mobile workshop unit, and I decided to book him instead. It will save me having to take and collect the caravan - a total of 40 miles and the time involved.
