Good evening all,

We have just returned from our first trip using only battery & gas, no EHU which was great. However we have a rather annoying problem....

We have a Whale submersible water pump which is reasonably new (within the last year) and has worked fine but this trip it wouldn't turn off despite all taps definately being closed.

We replaced a drain plug on the water heater that we noticed was leaking but this hasn't made a difference.

The flow through the taps wasn't too bad but not terribly consistent with air seeming to come through.

Any idea's at all would be gratefully received, many thanks indeed.

or if you have the truma heater. close fully clockwise, open a tap then unscrew very slowly until it JUST starts clicking and you have a good flow.close tap.green light should go off after a few seconds and only come on when a tap is turned.

tell us how you get on.if you have micro switch to your taps (wires on the underside)it could be a faulty micro switch,ie.stuck in the on position.

Hi Michael, well we went to our van today and you were right, we actually had to replace that whole thing (whale watermaster inlet thingy) and then re-pressurise it. It's now it's working perfectly. You're awesome, thank you very much indeed.

same applies.undo nut at the front anticlockwise gently screw in the centre bit clockwise fully.open a tap with the system full of water and pump engaged and turned on.slowly turn the centre anticlockwise until the water flows and it starts to click.turn off tap.green light should go out and only come on when the tap is opened.
