hi all, can anyone tell me please how to get rid of dog smells on caravan seats?the caravan is new to us, and as much as i like dogs i dont think they should be on the furniture. any ideas would be gratefully recieved.
just got our caravan and had to pay for the seats reupholstering not because of dogs just cause i am funny about other people been sleeping on em lol we have dogsbut there not allowed on the furniture
DO NOT use febreze it will make your seats moldy if they are left wet.steam is not a good idea as it will destroy your fabric make up and make it hard to touch.i know i spilt boiling water on ours and have a two inch hard patch on the seat.best to get a professional cleaner in to do it.worth the money in the long run.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
i used my vax floor n upolstry cleaner last year on a warm day came up great was v plsd with results, left the vent open all night for it to dry mite be worth investing in one, about £100ish but can use in house 2
thanx for all your suggestions, i steamed them and its worked quite well. smells seemed to of gone, thank god for the hot weather we had, dried them out in the garden, and kept windows open overnight in the caravan.
