just repaird the back end of my van,abs plastic used glue then filled with plastic padding so far so good,however i am stuck, what type of paint should i use? on the net i can only find paint that is only in the u.s.any suggestions please.not concernd about coulor match as i am going to paint the rear end panels red,it,s only about five inch,s either side.

I've used acrylic paint from a model shop on that sort of thing. It works best if you can airbrush it on, but painting with a brush is fine if you use a good quality brush.
I've used very successfully Plasikote spray paint; it is the easiest spray can I've ever used and the finish is brilliant - cost is about £6 a tin but if you are ever down in Devon, Trago Mills has it for half that price or less

When painting plastics like abs in exposed situations it is best to use an etch primer first. This is available in sprey cans, and as the name suggest it eych's itself into the syrface of the plastic and ensures that the paint adheres well.

i suggest using blakes marine paint you will have to be quite quick as it dries very quickly,i have painted front, back,and 2 sides with it hope this helps
