Hi all I am looking to remove my fire place also and replace with a small electric one.

Any images would be helpful and how easy is it to remove the fire itself ?

Did you confirm a 8mm or 6mm gas stop end ?

PS if I remove the Gas Fire does that mean my air blown heating system will no longer work ? May be a stupid question but I am new to this ;-)
