The only problem I had getting the windows replaced was that there aren't any Burstner caravan dealers in this area and the motorhome dealers weren't particularly interested in doing it.West Country Motorhomes agreed to do it but charged £40 to fit them,as I didn't buy the van from them I paid, having said that you can fit them yourself in about 5 mins.

.......... we are concerned with delamination, as this poses a safety issue and has been found to affect many UK manufacturers, who used the same polyplastic windows as Burstner, who in turn felt the problem was significant enough to notify VOSA. ........I really didn't expect to be working almost full time on this issue and probably wouldn't have started, if I had realised just what was involved, its really driven now, by the number of owners who have contacted me. Do we wait until one of these windows flys across a motorway and causes a serious or fatal crash?..if it can happen, as you know it will happen..................regards Andrew
Just wanted to inform that I suffered a delamination in the large window of my motorhome Adria series 70 model 573DS - The outer window layer detached itself while driving in motorway, hitting two cars in the process.
Despite a big scare for all of us, no one got injured.
Also find out afterwards that the rear window on the same side of the motorhome had also a severe delamination in process as you can confirm for the photos.
Hi I have just brought a BAILEY SENATOR 5 OKLAHOMA and just replaced one window due to separation, took it for service now tell me 2 more have separated.
Hi Hawk6, Don,t know where you are based, but EECO, Halifax (01274 679524) may be able to repair them for you. If you search this site you should come across posts from people who have carried out DIY repairs to their own windows.
