NEVER jack a caravan other than from under the axle or the axle plate behind the wheel.It can cause distortion of the chassis if you dont
preferably jack one side up while the van is hitched to the car place axle stand under axle then do other side & THEN unhitch & put down steady's
If you cannot hitch up,H/brake on.block one side while removing other side,lower steadys just above the ground as a safety precaution so that the weight does not rest on them as you tip the caravan when jacking it up on one sid. lower steadys fullt when van is on stands
