Hi does anyone have an instruction manual for my Electrolux 212B 3 way fridge please? It works fine on Gas but not on 230 or 12V or I don't think it does which is why I'm after a manual
I have a electrolux RM212 which I have just had out of my campervan. When inverted a metal strip and wire came out of the chimney flue (gas) and not sure of how to replace.
Anyone with Manual showing components of this aspect of the fridge ?
I'm pretty sure the twisted metal is hung / suspended inside the tube on the wire . I've got quite a few manuals but they don't show the metal in the flue .
Yes it simply hangs down in the flue, the 'lazy-tee' then goes over the top so it can't go anywhere. The twist is there to spin the hot gasses and gets a be more heat out of them as they pass by
Hi we have just bought a Nissan van and it has an electrolux 212 3 way fridge installed. but we cannot work out the front panel. Left side LPG ingnition and thermostat understand ok. Right side a nob has 220/240v on it and 12v the other side but dont know how to set this to make it work on one or the other. Help please if I could get a photo on I would.
I'm trying to get hold of a manual for a Electrolux 212B and see from the comments that you might be able to help? I can't see your email address anywhere though so I've decided to message on here.
Will you please send me your email and I will send you a request to your r email address please?
To give you some insight, I've just recently purchased a 1979 T2 and I haven't managed to get the fridge work as of yet - gas, 12v or 240v.
I have another question, I understand the fridge is to be levelled to work. When we say level, do you know how precise this needs to be? Do you know are we talking ‘bang on the money’ level or ‘as close as I can get it’ level?
I’ve attacked a pic to show how level the van is currently.
As close as you can get is usually fine, your photos look OK.
They are sensitive to being off level with generally a limit of up to 6 degrees front to back, and 3 degrees side to side.
Never had one not work on 'about right' rough check! That's both fitted caravan and free standing camping type I've got.
You'll need patience to find out if it's working, they take quite a while to start chilling down, should be a noticeable cooling in the ice box after 45 mins. A fridge thermometer may not register a change for a lot longer!
Don't forget it only operates on 12v when connected to the car supply, it doesn't draw 12v power from the leisure battery (although any controls and gas igniter may do, but not cooling)
The cooling circuit is common to all power sources, so if it works on one, it should work on all 3.
