My daughter is locked out of her caravan. Somehow the the door is locked and the keys are inside. I must admit I thought that would have been impossible. However I can't open any of the windows. I've taken the rubber seal out the door wndow and removed the silicone sealant then tried to remove the window, but it wont budge. I'm frightened to try too hard incase I break the thing. I'm considering drilling out the lock barrel, but I'm not sure just what to do. Would it be just a case of simply drilling the old one out, and would that then allow me to open the door, or is there anything else I'd have to be wary of? I presume a new one would have to be fitted from the inside. Are the replacement barrels all a standard size?
The caravan is an old Mardon classique supreme if thats any help
