Hi All,

Been usung this site to see reviews of sites for as long as I can recall, but not really got into the profile side of things and posting questions etc, but think we've hit a problem that requires some forum type assistance!

My partner and I recently bought a second hand Swift Charisma (which we love!!!) but there's a couple on minor things we need to fix/sort out.

1. On one of the thetford access doors on the outside, the buttons didn't appear to work properly, on looking at it, the cause is a crack round a raised circular section to the back plate at the rear of the lock. I've had it off and I'm sure I can replace easily if I could find out what the damn thing is called and where to get one from :(

2. The paint on the metal strips either side of the hob top that protect/cover the edging of the worktop have gona a little (well a lot) chipped off, and I'm looking to replace, they're like a creme caramel colour, but could do with a steer as to where to get these from.

3. While away this weekend, the freezer door seemed not to stay shut, on closer inspection, it appears that the hinge connection on the left hand side has a piece that's broken off (though we couldn't find the broken piece) and should be an oblong shape. Think it's a fairly generic fridge, is this easy enough to fix?
(As a tip for anyone this may happen to, we used a piece of rolled up kitchen roll about 2inches long and placed on top of the door while we pushed closed which wedged it up!)

As with all the above, I'm fairly handy so don't think I need to get a dealer to carry out the fixes, but as we're pretty new to this kind of thing, it's really knowing firstly what we should expect the cost of these to be and secondly where is best to get bits like these from!

Anyway, your assistance on any of the above would be gratefully welcomed!

Cheers,

J&S
