Hi All,

have just read the forum regarding Carver Blown Air not working because I have the same problem. The last time I used my van I noticed that the Blown air fan was working but no warm air coming out. Have followed your tips and finally got it working.

BUT .... I have found the problem. I have never had an issue with the electrics before this, So I took my van into work and started turning things on one by one ( process of elimination ). Took me a while to get the warm air working but then found that if I turn the FRIDGE off I have no problem getting blown warm air or any other electrics. If I turn the Fridge on I lose warm air because it trips the circuit and lose a plug socket.

Confused ... Like I said I have never had an issue with the Fridge and cannot understand why It's just started doing this.

Help Please ... Going away in a week.

Also found thay if I have the fridge power ON but turn the fridge control dial to zero I loose no other electrics. As soon as I turn the dial to regulate the fridge temperature, It trips out. This is when I loose the warm blown air and a socket.

Help Please

Does the fridge work on mains leccy if you don't try to use the blown air heating?
If not, it's likely that the fridge 240V element has failed and is causing a dead short to earth. And it just happens that the fridge and blown air heating are on the same circuit breaker. You may have to fix the fridge to get the heating working...
