Hi.
I have an electrolux 120 in an old camper i've bought.
I want it to work, or at least be able to find out, but there is no flint that I can see, or ventilation grill beneath the door...
I can't make out where the pilot light is either. The most likely candidate, where the pipes go from the blue button, seems to shield it so it cannot be seen.
Any help would be really greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Steve

Hi there, I know this is an old post but trying to get my late fathers Bailey Mastro on the road to reminisce. I'm just working out how to fit 240 electrics into the caravan and want to use a transformer to conect to original 12v lighting and charge battery.
The fridge is a Electrolux 120 and wanted to ask if you still have the a copy of the manual as I'd like to run by 12v as I have traced wires from wardrobe to the fridge but have no understanding on its use and how to conect to the battery.

My next step is also to run a 12s connection from the car as had tow bar fitted with 13 pin with adapter and was told its to run a fridge and charge battery whilst driving.

Sorry for the long post
Hope you can help

Thanks

Steve

The fridge can only run in 12v mode while caravan is being towed, with car engine actually running. Due to high battery drain it cannot run from caravan battery while on site. You run fridge either from Ehu or gas mode.

If caravan has 2x7pin plugs 12n & 12s then provided wiring is ok it should work ok while towing connected to fully wired 13pin towbar socket via twin adaptor.

Regards, Jack+Jon.

Hi thanks for info. I don't have a feed from the car yet or don't think so as there is just one plug that connects to the car to run indicators and brake lights. The first plan is to relocate the battery to inside as was recently in the front gas box and somehow connect from the battery to a Lucas control unit on the side of wardrobe that has a gauge showing battery level and a switch with off/on/batt. I have a caravan RCD and a battery charger 240v to 12v giving out 12amp to fit that I plan to keep the battery charge and hope to run the lights and pump.
If anyone can help with wiring diagram would be a help as seems as several wires go in then out from unit. A pair of wires wrapped in black tape or sheath goes from unit to the fridge. A red and a black wire from the front gas box goes into control box then heads out somewhere to the ceiling.
The only electrics running in the caravan at present as its an old 1980s baily is water pump . Ceiling lights and a tape cassette.

Any advice would be great as this is all new to me and. The last time I stayed in the caravan was when I was a kid.

Thanks steve

Hi Wizard,

I wonder if you could email me the electrolux 120 fridge manual too. I've got one in my fibreline that works but I have to pull it out and light the pilot with a lighter! Got to try find out why the ignition isn't clicking when pushed in.

Many thanks for your help if you can

Wizard has not posted in nearly three years so you might be out of luck.
