bought a new pump for our thetford loo, know where the pump goes but have no idea where the cable ends go to! how do we fix this please.hubby thinks its to the flush button ,if it is how do we get to it. thanks

google the thetford site and trawl through it for your loo,you should be able to gather some info

fran you will have to remove the complete tiolet,and work on it upside down,a very fidly job with the rubber bung/seal.

thats if its the c2,3 and 4 type, I dont know about the other tyres of thetford loos.

The kit should come with two joining crimps and heat shrink sleeving with the following instructions:

Take out the old pump, cut the wire, bare the ends of the old wire (still on the toilet), slide the heat shrink sleeving on the pump wire, use the joining crimps to join the wires together, slide the heat shrink sleeving over the new join and heat it with a hair drier, replace the new pump into the original pump position.

If you don't have the heat shrink sleeving or the wire joining crimps with your kit you can get them from Maplins quite cheaply.


Takes about 30 minutes to do the job
