Hi, Can you tell me why my hot water starts OK then turns to a dribble? but if I turn the cold water on it pushes the hot water through??

The heater matrix may be pertially blocked with scale. I had this problem a couple of times, first run out after winter storage drain down. The cure was to back flush the system with a hose pipe, an awful lot of white deposits came out of the drain hole.

Try running another hot tap ( if you have one ) , it could be the hot tap micro-switch is faulty, and the reason you get water from the hot tap to start with is, the water that's under pressure in the pipe from it's last use is being expelled when you turn the tap on .
