Any help gratefully received.

We have put a new pump on our Thetford C2 toilet but now it only flushes when the main pump for the caraven is switched on. If we turn the main pump off the toilet wont flush, it is wired correctly.

This is about normal to wire both pumps into the same fused circuit.

Your water pump should be controlled by either a pressure switch or a tap micro switch though so should not run unless a tap is open. If your water pump runs all the time then you have a problem with the control circuit on it.
