If you didn' t lower the flap to hold the pump in place that may be the cause. Once the tank is full did you try running the furthest tap from the pump till it runs free and then the next furthest tap etc. That way all the air should be released from the system. I mention that as I assisted a caravanner with a similar problem on a site and he never "bled" the system this way before use. If that fails then its some other problem. Sometimes a connection in the pump breaks loose so that one pipe does not draw water or half heartedly draws the water causing problems with the taps necessitating, maybe, a new pump. Often noticeabale by just hot or cold running and not the other. The one that doesn't run just draws air
