First you don't remove the heater from the van, the 'module' is a separate unit and comes out on it's own.
1, turn off gas
2, remover outer vent cover and flat alloy plate behind.
3, bottom right corner low down, you will find two pozi drive screws looking at you, unscrew these and the module pulls out.
4, on replacing, get the screw started and nearly tight, now lift the lefthand end of the burner as high as it will go without force, now finish tightening the screw to hold it in this position.
This is to ensure the foam seal is doing it's job and sealing the outside from the inside.
If the module does not want to slide out, then the box lid inside has popped open, go inside and squeeze the lid shut and get it started through the hole and then withdraw it from outside
