I want to replace all of the plastic infill in the aluminium strips on my 1995 Compass.

As the old ones are in a terrible perished condition and have lost their flexibility they are proving hard to remove

Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for that Michael but I don't think that my listing was very clear.
Yes I have found new infills on Ebay but the problem that I am having is removing the old infills,they have hardened with age.

Yes I have found new infills on Ebay but the problem that I am having is removing the old infills,they have hardened with age.
try using a hairdryer and small screwdriver on the underside.

Just run a screwdriver in behind the strip, I've always found Leisure Shop Direct to be the cheapest at 53p a metre

Thanks for the tip, but I could only do this on site, as where the van is stored there is no power.

Great tip thank you!...I paid £4.50 inc postage for 3m as a trial piece on Ebay so I will order the other 30metres that I need from LSD...it works out at nearly half the price of what I paid.
