I am wondering if anyone can help please? We recently bought our first caravan (1997 Swift Archway Hartwell) and spent 2 weeks of the school summer holidays in what seemed like gale force winds and pouring rain! On the 2nd week, we realised that water was leaking down the back off side corner of the van (it was spongy to touch)and down onto the floor. For the amount of heavy rain there had been it was not a massive amount of water although it was obvious that it must have been leaking for some time. A friend of ours who has his own caravan took the back window out and resealed it all up, as well as the handle bits at the back, and we thought that was that. Weeks later the caravan is leaking again, but this time the corner of the van seems to be dry but the water is coming out a bit further down. We dont have the money to take it in to be looked at so are hoping to have a go ourselves. If it is raining and we watch it, we can see the water slowly emerge across a line of about 30cm at the bottom. My husband has sealed across the spoiler bit as we thought that as water sits there it could be where it is coming in, but this has not fixed the problem. At the moment we have a piece of tarp covering the corner of the van which seems to have stopped it for now but we cant see where it could possibly be getting in from that covered up corner that has not all ready been re sealed. If anyone could give us a clue, We would be really grateful! Thanks, Hails

Oh yes we had awful problems with a old Lunar Moonlight it leaked everwhere so we sent it off to the wreckers! Now we have problems with this one too but i am hoping that she will behave after the work my husband has done. We checked her yesteraday and she "seemed " dryer but Only time will tell. like you i dont have the spare cash to throw at it and as she is permantly sited at Snettisham Norfolk then its hard to get someone to look at her anyway. It may help if you post a picture of the problem so that one of the more experienced people acan see. but i do wish you every piece of luck Hails
