Im going to use roll mastic to reseal the awning rails.. What width is best to use?  Found a few in 20mm 25mm and 50mm but the 50mm I can only find in black.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the replys... And thanks lawrence, that looks like a very neat finish.. Will give that a try then..

Also I have managed to somehow twist some bits of the rail, will this easily bend back into place when im screwing it back down?

And I have noticed that some of the other rails, perticularly the window rail has been put on without the rubber trim on the edge. Is this good or bad?
