Hi, I have a Swift Challenger 490 SE, year 2000, I am just de-winterising it and have found that the 4 toggle switches on the battery indicator module KT9/2000GLFP controlling the pump, 12v isolator switch, water heater and entry light switch, have all jammed. They seem to be corroded inside. I have tried dismantling the switches and injecting WD40 into the switches to free them, and have managed to free up two of them but two of them are jammed solid. The switch seems to be a sealed unit, so I can’t open them up. Does anyone know if it is possible to buy replacement switches?
Thanks

Hi mike 147, you could have a look at maplin electronics, they have an on line catalogue, you can see if any of there switches are same type you need.

Thanks Michael, actually they are the ones on page 34 of the Swift handbook under KT9/2000GLFP. Thanks for the tip, I'll try Gary.

Mike

Thanks everyone, but still cannot find the correct size rocker switches! They are Eaton 10A 250Vac 100011E AA. To fit a 27mm x 12mm hole in the panel.

My local caravan dealers and Swift dont stock them anymore. The caravan breakers dont supply them, and I cant find the right ones online with any of the rocker switch suppliers. I have found one supplier that seems to stock the correct ones, but they are in Delhi!

I havent been able to contact Gary yet, I will try to call him again tommorrow, but does anyone else have any ideas please?

Mike.

I have had the same problem with the switch for the fridge - all the others are fine.  As we are unlikely to use the fridge on battery, I'm not too concerned at the minute but have saved the link to my favourites for later.
