Awning light was working when we last used the caravan  in November but when I tried it last week it it is not working. Tried changing the bulb but nothing happening. Do I need to change the full light

a quick test on terminals to see if power is reaching light would determin if its the fitting at fault.

as a thought my awning light never worked until i found a switch next to seating area that was also the on off switch for light

The units with external switches are very susceptible to corrosion of the contacts and it would be worth testing these as a cheap tester is cheaper than a new awning light and probably of more use.

Also handy for checking your battery condition (cheap multimeter that is)
