what was only going to take a few minutes turned into the best part of five hours.the mrs was doing the inside and me and the boys were doing the outside.we jet washed it went round with the sponges and lovely warm soapy water only to find that cleaning it showed off black water marks and black oilly specs which i think are from my diesel work van.so me and the van got very personal with me rubbing it all over with that cream cleaner stuff from towsure.and what a good job it did.i even did the roof .then re washed it to get rid of any of the creme and job is a good un!!!!!!

any body else had to go to town on their pride and joy????
Just be grateful you are not from Gypsy Wedding! The ladies spend every hour cleaning their vans! Which I don't understand seeing that everything is covered in plastic...

thought it was a bad idea to use a jet wash on the van????,anyway as long as your happy with the end results it was a day well spent ,how nice it is that we are having some sun to allow us the time and the want to do these jobs

do not use a jet wash it will remove your sealer and remove paint as it is only microns thick.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
Been using a power washer for years though i must admit like michael said you have to be very carefull and it is not a thing that you can wash a caravan willy nilly with.I use snow chem to clean the van,it works great but you have to be carefull taking it off.I also use fenicks for the most stubborn marks just washing it off with a hose.Couldnt find a demo on a caravan, but i must warn people again you have to be carefull using the power lance on a caravan.. Snow foam
cleaned the caravan roof yesterday took about two hours or more.now in the process of polishing all over.done one side and the front.will do the other side tomorrow.
going to get some showroom shine.jeff
