Went away in van last week after a break of about 4 months, main divert valve (to inboard tank/run off external source needed replacing) Any way whilst away had the constant problem of pump kicking in intermittently to presure up system, (when running off internal tank about 20 to 30 mins it would run for about 4 seconds) reverted to external water source and it would kick in ever 5 to 10 mins and run for about 15 seconds. could this be due to loss of water (is there a non return valve) 

The outfit is a 2007 abbey spectrum 540 ta with ultrastore rapid/rapid xl tank, also went hot water tank in use the tap would splutter for the first few seconds as if starved of water. Any ideas/help would be great as mrs nearly ripping her hair out over this ?? 

With the system properly primed, close all taps and showers.
Leave the power supply turned on.
Tighten the adjusting screw (clockwise). The pump should now be running.
Partly open one cold tap to allow water to flow.
Now slowly loosen the adjusting screw until the switch starts to click. The switch will then be properly
adjusted.

just possible you have a faulty non return valve on your truma ultrastore pipe and water is draining back into the aquaroll thereby reducing pressure.only working when pressure is back up.see

Hi Gaz,

We had a problem with a leaking non-return valve on our folding camper the first time we used it. The clue was that the cold water in the Aqua Roll got warm as the hot water leaked back into it. It was fixed by removing the offending plastic swarf and refitting it. It was in the rear of the cold water inlet where the water comes into the van. Good luck.
