January we sent the van back to Discover near Darlington to have some warranty work done (bought new a month earlier) one of which was push fit pipe connections leaking.
I explained to them which ones were leaking, and on collecting the van was told that a couple had been replaced, and the system was tested and found to be OK.
We’ve just returned from a couple of days in the lakes and spent the first day with no water as not all the leaks had been repaired. Second day was spent running round looking for spare connectors and fixing the leaks myself, I’m no fitter but even I can spot and replace a leaking connection which I was told had been done, so much for after sales service.
One things for sure, they’ll not get the chance to carry out the annual service, I expect more than a couple of tire’s being kicked, just hope no more warranty work needs to be carried out.

Unfortunatly your prob stuck with them.if you used an honest mobile engineer as myself-they would terminate ur warrenty.they have you over a barrel.charge top dollar and give cr*p service--because they can.

I too had problems with them when I bought a van from them around 14 months ago. I got a 12month warranty with the van and had it serviced about 6 months into the warranty by them. They found 50% damp in the front end and was refusing to honour the warranty as there insurance company had said they will not cover it due to the van being over 7 years old. After some threats of legal action and trading standards they did the work. I am unsure of the quality however as nearby where they did the work I discovered some water coming in which I have repaired myself. Will never buy from them again.
I spoke to the service manager on the phone and just got this well oiled speech from him, asking me to bring it straight back in so they could investigate why the connections should be leaking again and that they maybe a design fault with the system Blah Blah Blah....
Why can't they just do the job which is expected of them... a length of plastic pipe and a connector well it's not exactly rocket science and he's telling me this was one of his most experienced fitters which carried out the work !!
So told him pointless me taking it back in cos I've fixed it.
